future centred design
We live in a volatile world, with things around us changing for reasons beyond our control. Where it’s difficult to plan for an increasingly uncertain future. New, multiple and interconnected variables are growing in complexity, with information yielding multiple, often conflicting and ambiguous interpretations. Welcome to the VUCA world (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous ).
Why future centred design?
Navigating in a VUCA world requires better interpretation of its signals and presenting these in compelling and informative ways. So organisations can reach decisions rapidly and seize the advantage in these new territories.
We call this cartography for the future and it requires a new discipline – future centred design.
